Velvet Armchair by Philippe Petit. Ed. DIM

Ochre velvet armchair by Philippe Petit, produced by DIM. Its wraparound back flows into rounded armrests, while curved uprights frame the seat cushion. The model is documented in Mobilier & Décoration, February 1935, p. 57, in the illustration captioned “Salon chez Mme Cora Madou, Paris”. The armchair is shown with its current upholstery and requires reupholstering. Our in-house upholstery workshop can undertake the full restoration and help select fabrics suited to the character of the piece.
