Tony Bain chair in olive wood and cast iron. Front view, detail of the wood grain visible on the backrest

Olive Wood Chair by Tony Bain

Sculptural chair made in the 60s by Tony Bain at Vallauris. Like most of the creations of this renowned sculptor, this piece combines the work of wood, here olive tree, with ironwork embodied in a piece of cast iron, both structural and aesthetic. Associated with the brutalist-rustic movement of the French post-war period, the shape of this chair lets us appreciate the character of the veining and the patina of the noble olive tree.

Dimensions : H90 x L42 x D42 cm
