Set of 8 Oak Chairs - 1930s by Félix Davin

This set of eight oak chairs dates from the 1930s. Six have straight backs and two have curved tops, combining neoclassical and baroque influences. The seats and backs retain their original floral fabric in shades of pink and beige. The front legs have a curved profile. The set is documented in Mobilier & Décoration, March 1938, p. 15, in a dining room created for Mr Francis Dupuy. The chairs are shown with their current upholstery and require reupholstering. Our in-house upholstery workshop can undertake the full restoration and help select fabrics suited to the character of these pieces.
