Set of 6 Sphère Chairs by Boris Tabacoff. Ed. M.M.M.

Like planets, these chairs appear to float in an ethereal environment. Surely this was the effect pursued by Boris Tabacoff, master of Space Age design, who created these chairs in the 1970s. The shells of these chairs are made of lucite, a translucent material that reinforces the idea of lightness. The fine bases in chromed steel exalt the idea of levitation. We have 10 dining chairs of this "Sphère" model. For six of them we made seat cushions from scratch, using a Bridget fabric from chez Pierre Frey. The other four retain the original cushions. But we can take care of its complete renovation at the pleasure of its future owner.
