Set of 6 Chairs in Carved Oak - Saint-Gonery, Circa 1940 by Joseph Savina

Set of six Saint-Gonery chairs in stained oak, designed by Joseph Savina circa 1940. Their straight lines define the silhouette of the backs and legs. Each back features a carved panel with a curving seaweed motif. The relief stands out against the dark tone of the wood. The seats have been reupholstered in cream Teddy Mohair fabric by Pierre Frey, contrasting with the dark frames.
