Set of 4 Sphère Chairs by Boris Tabacoff. Ed. M.M.M.

Like planets, these chairs appear to float in an ethereal environment. Surely this was the effect pursued by Boris Tabacoff, master of Space Age design, who created these chairs in the 1970s. The shells of these chairs are made of lucite, a translucent material that reinforces the idea of lightness. The fine bases in chromed steel exalt the idea of levitation. We have reupholstered the seat cushions with an emerald colored Duke fabric from Pierre Frey.
