R08 Sideboard in Elm by Pierre Chapo

Material, form and function were the three architectural fundamentals that guided the work of Pierre Chapo. These principles are evident in this sideboard model R08 , a piece created in French elm wood back in the 1970s. This storage is made up of a central block that joint two lateral walls that support it. Two central doors and two drawers form spaces of different and generous sizes to keep various objects. The only decorations are the assemblages between the different pieces of wood, which Pierre Chapo knew how to highlight with such mastery. Our buffet is in very good condition, the patina is simply sublime.
