Pair of Neoclassical Slipper Chairs - France, 1930

Made in France circa 1930, these slipper chairs display restrained, balanced proportions inspired by the Neoclassical vocabulary. The gently inclined backrest and generously upholstered seat rest on four tapered legs, giving the design a light and elegant silhouette. The chairs are presented with their current fabric; however, new upholstery is recommended. Our in-house workshop can undertake a complete restoration, offering a selection of fabrics respectful of the spirit and character of the pieces.
