Pair of Art Deco Armchairs - France, 1920

This pair of French Art Deco armchairs, dated 1920, features gently sloping backs and broad seats. The curved armrests extend down to the front legs, giving the frames a geometric outline. At the rear, each armchair rests on a wide, curved central foot shaped like a half-moon. Pink upholstery contrasts with the dark frames. The armchairs are shown with their current upholstery and require reupholstering. Our in-house upholstery workshop can undertake the full restoration and help select fabrics suited to the character of these pieces.
