Mountain Stool - Small Chair
This stool was probably created in the 1950s in the Pyrenees region. Its seat, backrest and feet were crafted in the brutalist rustic style in vogue in France at that period. What we find most remarkable about this piece is the exhaustive use of "la gouge", used to sculpt the entire surface of the stool. Our piece is in good condition, and can be used as a decorative side chair next to a sideboard or as a stool in the living room, maybe next to a fireplace.
Dimensions : W32 x D38 x H73 cm Seat height: 38 cm
