This armchair designed by Michel Dufet and produced circa 1930 by the Ateliers du Sylve – Le Bûcheron offers a refined interpretation of Art Deco, where the rigor of the lines is balanced by a subtle softness of volume. The solid wood structure, with gently curved armrests and carefully profiled uprights, asserts an elegant yet architectural presence. The design favors constructive clarity and a harmonious balance between a generous seat and restrained, well-controlled lines. The armchair is presented in its current condition; a full reupholstery is recommended. Our workshop can naturally undertake this restoration, offering fabrics and finishes consistent with the spirit and period of the piece.
