KD27 lamp by Joe Colombo: front view of the lit lamp

KD27 Chrome Lamp by Joe Colombo. Ed. Kartell

There are designers who are very good at creating chairs, others are better with tables, other lamps... Joe Colombo was a genius creating all kinds of design objects. A very good example is this KD27 table lamp edited by Kartell in 1967. Small in size, enormous in creativity, together with the Elda chair, it is one of the most recognized icons of Colombo's work. Its clean lines and space-age materials (a cylinder in chromed ABS, a flattened dial in opal PMMA) radiate the bold style of the late 1960s. Our lampe is in perfect condition.
