Fine Art Deco Marquetry Table - France, 1920

French Art Deco table from the 1920s, with a rectangular top featuring elaborate wood marquetry. Nested diamonds, fine light-coloured lines and a central star form a geometric composition that draws on contrasting tones and grain patterns. A broad border frames the marquetry. Beneath the top, a moulded apron rests above legs composed of rounded vertical uprights. The table can accommodate 50 cm extension leaves. These are not present, but we can craft them if necessary.
