Art Deco Oak Sideboard in the Manner of Victor Courtray - France, 1940

Made in France circa 1940, this piece displays a strong Regionalist vocabulary with substantial volumes and restrained lines. The three doors are centred by carved circular motifs, framed by rounded uprights and raised on angled feet. The oak patina and shelved interior reinforce its authentic character.
