Armchair for the SS Île-de-France by Jules Leleu

Designed by Jules Leleu in 1925 for the French ocean liner Île-de-France, this model reflects the refinement of French Art Deco. The enveloping backrest extends into curved armrests, highlighted by a wooden structure and regular nailhead detailing. The armchair is presented with its current upholstery; however, new upholstery is recommended. Our in-house workshop can undertake a complete restoration, offering a selection of fabrics respectful of the spirit and character of the piece.
